Tune in as we take another musical voyage through contemporary classics from the likes of Glenn Underground, Gianluca Pighi, Dennis Ferrer, Miranda Nicole and Tuccillo, as Rob pairs them with brand new tracks from Cee ElAssaad, Lil’Dave, Floyd Vader, Fred P and Musclecars remixing Dreamcastmoe. There’s also a sneaky first listen to an upcoming remix due to appear as the lead single from a four-track EP on the soon-to-be-launched imprint, Lost in the Rhythm Records, giving listeners a first taste of what’s to come from the roster later this summer.
Rob remains a diligent student of the craft, and having immersed himself in London’s music scene for the past 25 years, he’s slowly established himself as a dedicated music enthusiast with an eclectic taste in genres whether it be underground house music, disco, jazz, Afro-Latin throwdowns, or R&B vocals. In addition to his DJ and radio host side hustles, Rob has played a significant role in organising and promoting events in and around the city over the years. From back-in-day boat parties under the Soul-Identity Music banner to playing small basement, club, and lounge parties amongst well-known artists and producers, he continues to share his love for new and classic sounds with a broader audience. Recently, he has found himself spinning tunes alongside his contemporaries in Amsterdam and New York as part of the global Saturday Night Experience project, while in June, he will be heading to Toronto for the SNE X Goodbeat Weekender. Locally, after taking a little hiatus to raise a family, he holds his Happy Music sessions quarterly in the capital at The Star of Kings in North London.
